On Tuesday 24th March 2009 we had Irish author Oisin McGann visit the Library for three separate workshops with First years.  He was so talented he fascinated the students with a look inside the literary world. He read extracts from three of his many books and gave the students an insight into the characters.

 

He is also an accomplished Illustrator and does a lot of the illustrations for his books, so while taking questions he did some illustrations of characters from the books signed them and left them with us for the Library. 

 

Everyone students and teachers alike enjoyed the morning, a good time was had by all.

We look forward to next year and our next authors visit.
